KID'S AFTER SCHOOL POTTERY
CLASS LIMITED TO 10 STUDENTS!

DATES: Spring 2 -March 26, April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
TIME: 4:00pm-5:30pm
COST: $145 ($15 included goes to supplies)
DESCRIPTION: Beginner projects will include animal sculptures, mugs, bowls, and instruments with an introduction to the potter ’s wheel. Advanced students will have more time on the wheel. Students are encouraged to explore their own imaginations, create projects, and work at their own speed. Students practice techniques including pinch, coil, slab and wheel throwing. Students will decorate with glaze or paint.

DESCRIPTION: In this class, students will get to paint, draw, collage, and create art projects focused on helping them develop their artistic talents. Each class will begin with a story time, and then students will get to create their own art piece!

DESCRIPTION: Do you have a budding artist that loves to draw animals?! In this series of classes, students will learn different techniques for making animals. First they will learn how to draw some different animals in different habitats. In the second class they will do a little printmaking by learning to use some of their drawing skills to make a line print, and in the third class students will talk about shapes and make Eric Carle-inspired animal collages!
